2012 Portlandia maze
Portland Corn Maze

The Original Cornfield Maze is celebrating Portlandia, “the city where young people go to retire,” as well as featuring the iconic statue, Portlandia, herself, in the towering corn field.

The design connects the iconic sculpture by Raymond Kanskey, Portlandia, to the quirky IFC television show, Portlandia. The popular catch phrase “put a bird on it” has larger than life meaning as Portlandia reaches down to place a bird on a giant pumpkin in the 5-acre corn field. The IFC television show, Portlandia, starring Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen has brought national attention to our unique city with their witty sketches that will now be characterized in the “corny” fields.  If you think Portlandia sketches are clever, test your cleverness and see if you have the intellect to navigate the giant corn puzzle.
